Simple project and task management

Keep projects and tasks together

Write down what needs doing, add an assignee when needed and keep track of what you agreed. Kare Point brings tasks, comments and project information into one place.

Start with one project, on your own or with a colleague. Add schedules, milestones and other information as you need them.

A familiar situation

Files in folders. Everything else in email and memory.

Your project files may already have a good home, while questions, changes and agreed work get lost in messages. Record them in Point as you work so you and your colleague can find them later.

Something to remember

A change, question or task comes up during the project. Write it down in the right project.

A colleague needs to know

Add an assignee and put the details in the task comments.

What did we agree?

Record the agreed solution in the project's Decisions section. Find the decision and its reasoning later without searching message threads.

What is still open?

Check the open tasks and mark completed work as done.

Tasks

Write down a task and get on with your work

A title is enough to create a task. Add a description, assignee, due date or attachment when you need one. Keep questions and discussion with the task.

Small issues and larger jobs

Record a fault to fix, a question to answer or the next job. Break larger tasks into subtasks.

A shared list with your colleague

Add observations and tasks to the same project. Assign people and discuss the details in comments.

Find your own and shared work

Check your tasks or browse work across projects. Filter the list by work area or status.

Schedules when you need them

Add dates and milestones when they help

You can also plan project work and follow its completion in Point. Add dates to tasks, record important milestones and view the schedule in Gantt. You do not need to define everything upfront.

  • Dates and milestones — Set task due dates and record the project's main targets.
  • Different views of the same tasks — Use a list, board, calendar or Gantt view, depending on what helps with your work.

Notes, decisions and files

A place for the rest of your project information

Write down initial information, meeting notes or a short instruction in the same workspace. Add files and links. You can keep using your existing project folders too.

  • Keep notes with the project — Find notes and initial information in the same project as your tasks.
  • What did we decide, and why? — Record the decision, its reasoning, date and decision-makers in the project's Decisions section. Link related tasks and documents when needed. If plans change, replace or cancel the decision so you can see which one is current.
  • Reuse earlier work — Copy a project or use a template when the next job includes familiar tasks.

AI for everyday project work

Turn your AI conversation into tasks in Point

When discussing a project with an AI assistant, ask it to retrieve open tasks or record a new task in Point. Work identified in the conversation goes into the right project without copying it across by hand. Connect Point to a compatible external AI assistant and grant the permissions it needs.

Add a task to the project: check the fixture sensor positions.

The AI connection is configured separately through the MCP interface and requires a compatible external AI service. Any subscription to that service is purchased separately.

Names use aliases: dedicated project, person and customer name fields are replaced with identifiers in the AI connection. Tasks, documents and other free-form text may still contain names or confidential information, so choose what you share accordingly.
