Kare Maint keeps machines and equipment running through preventive maintenance, fault history and clear work queues. As data is collected automatically per asset, the maintenance team quickly sees what failed, how often and when the next service is due. Production uptime improves when actions are based on facts instead of memory.

External service business

Kare Maint's external mode covers the whole chain from first customer contact to job execution and invoice delivery. A customer register, invoice flow and separate sales pricing for stocked items ensure that every completed job is invoiced correctly. No more lost hours or forgotten materials. The system also includes a dedicated Deliveries type for separating material deliveries from regular work orders.

QR scanning opens the correct asset, storage location or purchase order directly. Data recorded in the field is saved in the right context immediately, improving quality and reducing mistakes.

Preventive maintenance

Recurring maintenance is automated through maintenance plans, and completed tasks are logged to execution history. The maintenance schedule stays up to date without manual reminders, and responsible users see upcoming tasks early.

Invoicing and invoice flow

External service operations use invoice batches where jobs are collected and prepared for billing. Hours, materials and travel costs move in one flow, speeding up invoicing and reducing errors.

Customer register

Customer billing details, contacts, default references and notes are managed centrally. Contact details, contract-specific rules and invoicing settings are available in one place for every job.

Custom inspection and work forms

Create your own digital forms and attach them to work orders and preventive maintenance plans. Forms are filled in during execution on mobile or desktop, and documentation is saved directly to the correct job.

Reporting

Ready-made reports cover work orders, work requests, fault history, inventory balances, stock value and purchase orders. Management and supervisors get a clear picture of workload, costs and development trends.

Fault history

Assets accumulate fault history and corrective actions through a fault-diagnosis form shown when repair jobs are completed. This helps identify recurring issues and commonly needed components.

Storage locations

Warehouses and storage locations are clearly structured, and location-specific QR codes speed up picking. Picks and returns are posted to the right location, reducing waste and balance inaccuracies.

Suppliers and purchase orders

Supplier register, purchase orders and receipts create a controlled procurement chain. Orders move from draft to delivery with traceability, keeping procurement on schedule and on budget.

Kare Maint works on mobile - today and tomorrow

Kare Maint is already designed to run smoothly on mobile devices. The mobile-optimized browser version is available immediately without separate app installations - technicians open the browser, sign in and start working. QR targets, work order logging and inspection confirmations work directly in the field.

A native mobile app for iOS and Android is in development. It will bring push notifications, faster sign-in and an even better mobile UX. Leave your email and we will notify you when the app launches.

Hi, I'm Ville - the software developer behind Kare Maint and other Kare Digital solutions. My background is in industry: over 10 years of experience in maintenance, automation design, and service and installation work in production automation and machine building. Practical experience guides my development work - I believe I understand users' daily reality because I live it myself.

Kare Maint was not born at a desk - it was built from field experience. After trying several off-the-shelf tools, it became clear that we needed our own solution - comprehensive enough, but without unnecessary overhead. Over the years that solution has grown into Kare Maint, which we continue to improve through customer feedback and practical day-to-day learning.

I handle development, onboarding and support directly with you - no middle layers. When needed, I use my partner network for product testing and sales support. Alongside Kare Maint, I also deliver custom work management software, industrial data applications, and websites with digital brand development support.
